Kia ora! 👋 We're a couple with strong roots in the IT world who decided to step away from keyboards and code (just a little) to build something hands-on, heart-led, and connected to the land we now call home — Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Odd Shop was born from our two passions: sustainability and creativity. With a background in technology, we understand how fast devices become obsolete — and how much value is still left in them. That’s why we started offering responsible electronics recycling as a core service.

Along the way, we discovered another love: helping people celebrate life's big (and small) moments with beautifully curated event décor rentals. Whether it's a birthday, wedding, or community gathering — we’re here to make it memorable, affordable, and kind to the environment.

As we settle into Kiwi life, we’re learning, growing, and embracing the values of whānau, kaitiakitanga, and manaakitanga. We’re proud to contribute to the community while bringing our own unique twist to it — odd and all.
