We founded The Odd Shop under Ajeck Systems Limited with a singular mission: to restore genuine sentiment and longevity to gifting. To us, “Odd” celebrates the individual quirks, intimate memories, coordinates of a childhood home, or inside jokes that make a relationship truly singular.
From our production base in Massey, West Auckland, we pair computer-controlled laser accuracy and additive fabrication with hand-rubbed timber finishes to make pieces that are delightfully unique—or as we say, oddly perfect.

CO2 Laser Cutting & Engraving
Sub-millimeter precision engraving onto native New Zealand timbers, natural bamboo, volcanic slate, and acrylics. Vector precision ensures microscopic detail down to 0.05mm.
Additive 3D Printing
Layer-by-layer fabrication of translucent photo lithophanes, intricate geometric lamps, and tactile decor using non-toxic plant-derived PLA biopolymers.
Artisan Timber Finishing
Machines provide geometric accuracy, but hands deliver warmth. Each piece is progressively sanded with fine abrasives and hand-rubbed with organic food-safe beeswax and natural plant oils.
